SINGLE/DOUBLE RACING/RECREATIONAL SHELLS, SINGLE/TANDEM KAYAKS/CANOES, SINGLE/DOUBLE FIXED-SEAT ROWBOATS, WHALEBOATS/PILOT GIGS, STAND-UP PADDLEBOARDS

Races will start (promptly at 9:30 a.m.) and finish near the mouth of the Slocum River, nearby the Lloyd Center’s waterfront facility, traversing a two-mile closed-loop buoyed course on the tidal waters of one of New England’s most beautiful estuaries. The order of races and starting-times will be finalized on Wednesday, September 14^th and posted on-line, Friday, September 16^th.

Registration will take place on race-day from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. at Demarest Lloyd State Park (Dartmouth), except for whaleboats and pilot gigs, which will register at Lloyd Center Headquarters (430 Potomska Road, Dartmouth). The need for any weather-dictated alternative launching-sites will be announced a.s.a.p. online (www.lloydcenter.org) and at time of Registration.

Award Ceremony and light refreshments will follow shortly after noon at Lloyd Center Headquarters (430 Potomska Road).

Medals will be awarded to all competitors in entries (boats) which post the fastest time in their Event-Division (race).

For competitive purposes, each of the following 33 Events will be divided into a “Youth Division”, a “Master Division”, and an “Elite (open) Division” and, in Double and Tandem Events, also a “Youth/Master Division”
